As the years went on Quicken didnt support Mac as well as it supported PCs, it changed format and ultimately changed from purchase to the subscription model.

The Checkbook program does everything I want it to do and is straight-forward and easy to use.

Checkbook imported data from Quicken without difficulty but I have needed help in certain matters, most relating to adapting my approach to allocations.

I highly recommend Checkbook and Splasm.

There was an initial promo window for this app., giving the options Skip and Accept -- I didnt realize the full implications of these options.

Then MacBooster automatically launched, without my permission, and planted its own files in my Mac, again without asking my permission.
